Call of Duty XP is the premiere Call of Duty fan event, being held in the legendary Forum in Inglewood, California. The event is going to have a number of exciting attractions going on making it a must for any die hard Call of Duty fan. Call of Duty XP is going to be taking place from Friday September 2nd to Sunday September the 4th.
For the eSports fans out there, the event is going to be the host for the finale of the Call of Duty World League Championship. All the drama and the culmination of nearly a year’s worth of competition comes down to this one event that can be seen at the hallowed grounds of the Inglewood Forum. These elite COD players will be competing in Call of Duty: Black Ops III for a chance to win the hefty sum of $2 million dollars. Fans can also take part in the finale by making bracket, similar to a March Madness bracket, for a chance to win $25,000 dollars. For those unable to attend, the event will be streamed live on Twitch as well as on YouTube.
The other big draw for Call of Duty XP is the surprise musical guests who were revealed to be none other than Mac and Devin themselves, Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa. The West Coast G-Funk legend and the man who brought us bangers like “We Dem Boyz” and “Black and Yellow” are coming together to put on a concert worthy of headlining any festival. This concert is included in the tickets to Call of Duty XP and is the perfect cherry on what is already a jam packed Sunday.
Fans attending Call of Duty XP will also get a number of hands on experiences and exclusives. Some of the playable content that fans will be able to get their hands on include: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Zombies, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered multiplayer, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III DLC 4, which includes 4 never before played maps. Attending the event, means being one of the first people to ever get a chance to experience all of this new COD content. Some other fun events that fans can take part in if they are attending include: Nuketown paintball (taking place in a life size recreation of the beloved map), Zombies Laser tag (inspired by Zombies in Spaceland), and a Call of Duty PlayStation VR exclusive, where fans can pilot and dogfight with the Jackal, the personal fighter jet found in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Since Sunday will be host to the COD World League Championship matches and the Wiz Khalifa and Snoop Dogg concert, all other outdoor activities and gaming stations will be closed on the last day of the convention, Sunday September 4th.
