BloodRayne: Betrayal Coming To Steam On April 30th

2D Sidescrolling action game, BloodRayne: Betrayal,  from WayForward Technologies, Majesco Entertainment, and Developer Abstraction Games, will be released on PC via Steam on April 30th, currently no price is shown. WayForward originally released BloodRayne: Betrayal for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in September 2011. It will also be released in Japan the following day for PS3 but as BloodRayne: Crimson Slayer, which is with the Publisher Arc System Works.

Players play as the main character, Rayne, who is dhampir with superhuman strength, speed, and agility, which Rayne was recruited by the vampire hunting Brimstone Society. You will need to Slay enemies in order to go into the manor, and take out the hordes and stop the evil master plot for a final mission.

“She who fights with monsters might take care lest she thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.”

Along the way you will also get some help from some of the members of Brimstone and also a mysterious friend. The game features 15 levels of hack and slash combo actions, which some of the levels are The Forest, The Attic, and The Freaky Ballroom.

While you fight enemies, you will be able to feed on enemies and refuel your blood reserves. Playing as Rayne, will give you an arsenal of lethal weapons especially the arm blades and super guns. Some of the enemies and bosses that you will fight against in order to stop the evil plans include Flying Parasites, Blood Balloons, and more.

With the game going on steam, it will not only have the regular steam achievements, steam cloud, steam leaderboards, and full controller support, but it will also have steam trading cards.
