Assassin’s Creed Identity Coming Out For Mobile Devices

The stealth action-adventure can be played on your smartphone!

Since it’s soft-launch down-under in Australia and New Zealand in September 2014, fans has been waiting to hear new that the mobile exclusive addition to the Assassin’s Creed series would be coming to other regions as well. Well, wonder no more!

The game was developed by Ubisoft Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft. The game will be available for Android and Apple phones beginning February 25th worldwide, and will cost $4.99 USD.

The game takes players back to the much used and nostalgic setting of the Italian Renaissance. Players will be able to customize their assassins, as well as choose from an array of classes: Berserker, Shadow Blade, Trickster, and Thief.

ACI was previously praised for its plethora of quests and abundant inventory of items to acquire. Mobile gamings appears to be coming a long way!

If you haven’t updated your phone or used that cellularly upgrade with your provider, now might be the time! ACI will only run on iOS 7/iPhone 5/iPad 3 or higher. As for those Android users, ACI compatibility has yet to be announced, but we should see more news on that forefront as the month goes on.

Players will be able to control their assassins and send them into combat using either tap-to-move strategy or dual virtual analogue sticks–it appears up to player’s preference. The game will also have the ability to utilize gamepads.

Look for this addition to the Assassin’s Creed line up in the App Store starting February 25th, for $4.99!
