Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Breaks 2 Million Sales and Other Records

Ubisoft has recently announced that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has launched with over 2 million companies sold. Vantage Studios, a Ubisoft-owned company, said that it reached this number on the first day following the game’s release, and also reported that the game ranked Top 1 on Twitch on release day. Fans of the game have come flocking to try the remake for themselves, and in turn have caused these numbers to shoot up since the game came out.

More information from Vantage Studious reveals more information on the current status of the game. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has hit nearly 100,000 concurrent players on Steam within the first 24 hours of its release, and that number has likely climbed higher since then as the weekend rolled around. This number has also been recorded as the largest count of concurrent players for any Assassin’s Creed title on Steam’s library. The report from Vantage Studios also stated that the game received an 85% review score on Open Critic, and an 84% review on Metacritic. Both of these reviews reached yet another record, as Assassin’c Creed Black Flag Resynched is currently the title that holds the highest rating in its series, higher than even its original counterpart.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced appears to have had a pretty promising launch, with how many records it’s broken within its own series. With the success of this game, many fans seem to be enjoying the remade version of Black Flag and all it has to offer between its gameplay changes and enhanced graphics. Ubisoft Singapore, the team behind Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, has certainly had the work they’ve done on the remake shine with how many records they’ve broken. With the next Assassin’s Creed game coming out next year, many fans are hoping that Ubisoft will remember the formula they used with Black Flag Resynced and apply it to the next installment. If they do, the company may just see even higher numbers than Black Flag Resynced received.
