PlayStation 4 owners eager to play 11 bit studios’ 2013 tower defense hit Anomaly 2 have reason to rejoice, as the studio announced that the game will be arriving on the console on September 16 and 17 for the US and Europe respectively.
Anomaly 2 will be priced at $14.99 in the US and €13.99 in Europe, a pretty disparate price difference when you consider the exchange rates between the two.
Anomaly 2 is the sequel to Anomaly: Warzone Earth, in which a race of machine-like aliens take over Earth, leaving the human survivors to band together in convoys to survive and fight back.
A tower defense strategy game, players don’t micromanage units the way they normally do in other real time strategy games. Instead, tactical planning of unit routes is crucial, as well as applying the correct unit powers and support abilities. Units also have the ability to morph into mechanized walkers, adding more strategic depth.
The game was released in May last year to positive reviews, and contains both a single player campaign and multiplayer modes.
Polish developer 11 bit studios are also working on the thought provoking war survival game This War of Mine.
