Annapurna Interactive Showcase: Outer Wilds DLC, Stray, The Artful Escape & More Shown Off

In celebration of the company’s sixth year, Annapurna Interactive held its first-ever Annapurna Interactive Showcase. The event provided new games, game updates, and new partnership announcements. The Showcase provided a new look at The Artful Escape, Stray, Neon White, Solar Ash, and more. Here is everything that was revealed at the first-ever Annapurna Interactive Showcase.

A new trailer for The Artful Escape was revealed. The new trailer sheds a little more light on the game’s story. The trailer also revealed several of the actors that will be lending their talents to the game. Lena Headley, Jason Schwartzman, Mark Strong, and Carl Weathers are among the cast. The Artful Escape will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, and PC and releases on September 9.

Neon White is a first-person speed-running shooter from the creator of Donut County. The game has players in the shoes of White, a dead assassin plucked from hell. You have 10 days to purge heaven from a demonic invasion.

Neon White’s gameplay revolves around the option to use soul cards you collect throughout a level to either shoot or utilize its ability by discarding the card. By doing so, you are granted god-like parkour moves like Elevate, Godspeed, Stomp, Fireball and more. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch and PC this Winter.

Annapurna Interactive has announced a new partnership with Outerloop Games, the developers behind Falcon Age. Outerloop’s next game will be about immigrant culture and growing up in the U.S. Not much was shown but there was some footage of the game showing off a little bit of skateboarding gameplay.

A Memoir Blue was announced. Developed by Cloisters Interactive, the trailer showcased a bit of the story that seems to be focused on the main character’s memories and her relationship with her mother. The game will be released for Xbox, PlayStation, PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, and iOS.

The second partnership that was announced with Annapurna Interactive was with Everyday Shooter developer and Soundshapes Co-Director Jessica Mak. Not much was shown of the new game, but Mak talked about how music, sound and the flow a musician can get into will be a vital part of the game.

Storyteller puts players in control of the story. The new game from developer Daniel Benmergui is a puzzle game that lets players craft stories of their own. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. A demo is available on Steam to try now.

A new trailer was released for Solar Ash. Nothing new was revealed but the game finally has a release date. Solar Ash will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 26.

Ivy Road is a new studio composed of Davey Wreden, creator of The Stanley Parable, Karla Zimonja, Co-Creator of Gone Home and Tacoma, and Minecraft composer Daniel Rosenfeld. They are partnering with Annapurna Interactive to create a new game.

A new trailer was released for Skin Deep. Developed by Blendo Games, Skin Deep is a first-person shooter where players have to pay attention to the rules, and how to break them to survive.

The Pathless will be available on Steam on November 16. What Remains of Edith Finch is coming to iOS next month on August 16. I Am Dead launches on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox on August 9. Telling Lies and Gorogoa will be available on Xbox Game Pass soon.

A new trailer for Stray was released. The trailer goes more in-depth about gameplay. A release date was also revealed for the highly anticipated game. It will launch in early 2022 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

No Code Entertainment Productions was the last new partnership announced. The Developers behind Observation and Stories Untold revealed that their next project will be a new horror game that will be No Code’s biggest project to date.

Outer Wilds: Echoes of the Eye was announced. This will be the game’s first and only expansion. It’s set to release on September 28, for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox.
