Android Getting A Pokemon Spinoff 18 Months After Ios

Tired of waiting for Pokemon Go to come out for your Android phone? Then give Camp Pokemon a try. After being released for ios 18 months ago, earlier today Camp Pokemon was officially released for Android by the Pokemon Company. This game is for free, and is aimed more towards young children. This game allows the players to see the virtual world of Pokemon a different way. Instead of the traditional run around and catch adventure you go to Camp Pokemon and do a bunch of Pokemon themed activities on your journey to becoming a Pokemon trainer.

The mini games within the application are made to teach the player the correct techniques on how to go into the wild and catch Pokemon, and to also teach the player the correct technique to throw pokeballs to ensure a good catch. In the game you collect pins which would allow you to unlock new levels of activities to play on, and will allow you to receive some in game rewards. There is also a neat function that allows you to use your phone’s camera to take a picture and then you can decorate the picture with some Pokemon themed stickers which are earned in game. As of now there is no speak about the game coming to Windows Phones, so it appears to be only for ios and Android but that can change in the future.

If you have been having the desire to play some Pokemon styled games, but can not wait til Pokemon Go is released go ahead and try out Camp Pokemon or go out and try Pokemon TV, Pokemon TCG Online, Pokemon Shuffle, and Pokedex. All of these games will help get you back into that Pokemon mood while you wait tirelessly for Pokemon Go to be released for your ios or Android devices.
