During yesterday’s Story-Rich Showcase, developer Soft Rains announced that the second act of their debut game Ambrosia Sky will release later this summer. Aptly titled Ambrosia Sky Act Two, the second act continues Dalia’s journey to clean up her old home from the mysterious fungus that has taken over the space station.
For those unaware, Ambrosia Sky is an immersive clean’em up game akin to Powerwash Simulator where you use different kinds of sprays (water, electric, fire) and nozzles to clear away fungus across different mission types. Ambrosia Sky Act Two is set to add new mission types, new fungus to eliminate and collect, and a new progression system with new upgrades for Dalia and her handy sprayer.
The story of the game left off in a mysterious spot as some intriguing events happened to close out the first act including Dalia’s hunt to find her former girlfriend Maeve who, hopefully, hasn’t already succumbed to the deadly fungus. Then, while Dalia is a cleaner, she is also recovering DNA samples from the victims of the event that transpired on her home, known as The Cluster, for the company she works for as they are looking for a way to extend human lifespans. The second act promises to tie up all threads of the story by the end of the game.
The release announcement follows the news earlier this year that the developers have truncated the game from three acts down to two with this finishing up the story of the game. Ambrosia Sky Act Two is set to release on PC on August 6, 2026. You can view the announcement trailer below:
