Agni: Village of Calamity’s Releases Latest Blood and Bones Trailer Highlighting Hyper Realistic Visuals and Mind Bending Reality Threats

Agni: Village of Calamity just released its Blood and Bones trailer . The upcoming horror game is described as an “upcoming cinematic survival horror title – combining mind-bending terror and ritual strangeness, with Indonesian slasher style violence,” in its trailer notes. The trailer itself boasts hyper realistic visuals and non stop monsters coming at Agni from everywhere, as well as the Black Razor Record’s “original” trailer and presumably game specific piece: “Blood and Bones.”

Agni is a “rogue agent” per the trailer description, and the dynamic and action packed trailer by Wired Productions, Black Razor Records and Separuh Interactive feeds this narrative. We see Agni herself, waking up after a monstrous dream about being stabbed by a man. As she starts getting her bearings, her presumable boss criticizes her. Directly telling Agni that she’s “obsessed, emotional, you are unmedicated, and you are becoming a threat.” After that read, Agni heads to the bathroom, looks at her mirror, breaths and takes her meds. While she’s doing so, her boss further threatens her “rank” and “clearance,” even going as far as saying Agni will “never hold so much as a flashlight in this line of work again.”

Even with these threats, Agni persists and dresses up in her hijab, and ironically the same red shirt from her dream, alongside a loaded gun. She then takes a ride to the village, that’s smack dab in the middle of some kind of forest.  The village is basically a loaded bomb, as people are floating in the sky, due to the presence of a flying being. Agni kicks a guy with her feet, and calls up her gun to take care of a zombie looking man and burning office worker. As the scene shifts between an office and the land, it seems her medication may be affecting Agni’s ability to recognise reality, and she seems to be making up landscapes on her own, or it could be the village man’s work. Regardless she kills the man, who’s more like a creature, watches the flying man destroy the people in air, and meets a reality warper who turns matches into a lamp. Agni then tries to approach a glowing blue light, but she falls in the water. After a juxtaposition between Agni and her friend, it seems Agni’s friend has some kind of power, and Agni uses a similar power in a lamp to burn up the beings after her. You’ll find Agni: Village of Calamity on Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X & S.
