Vampire: The Masquerade- Oaths & Ashes, the Political Intrigue Game Comes November 10th,

Vampire: The Masquerade- Oaths & Ashes finally has a release date, the upcoming political intrigue will be out on November 10th! A new trailer comes with this revelation, and it details the story of Lenz.

Lenz is a revolutionary, who had “Worked for the state, worked for the Camarilla.” Restless, he and his friends “made noise”, that noise led him to “a cell” while the folks in power threatened him. However, “some Kindred decided I needed saving and Embraced me” and that’s the story of how Lenz became a Vampire. However  his new status didn’t change who he was: a “junkie.” Time passed, some things changed but Lenz remained under the Camarilla. However he introduces a few new players in the Berlin Power scene, the “Tower,” the “Anarchs,” and  “gang.” These powers all hold some kind of control in Berlin, causing Lenz to tiptoe around them.

He spends “40 years” between all of these powers, appeasing those in power, with shots of Lenz himself talking to gang leaders through dialogue lines. One thing in common is, all the leaders want Lenz to show submission and deferral to their authority, while questioning his allegiance. He’s done all kind of odd jobs for them such as “a cook,” “a runner,” and a convenient scapegoat or as Lenz puts it “someone to blame?” However he’s found his calling “cooking drugs” and somehow he managed to become “THE ALCHEMIST” through “The Embrace.”  There are 6 different vials of some kind of drug Lenz made, one seem to be for Alice the other protagonist of this game and one for Lenz himself. The 4 others are named after the four temperaments, with sanguine, melancholic, choleric and phlegmatic as their labels. It seems they might tune people to the qualities of the temperaments, but that’s still unknown. Due to these drugs, he’s even more restricted as the powers think he “owes” them. Alice who “Doesn’t owe anyone.” Turns his world view apart by her un-submissive, and free behavior which he then takes on.
