A Special Pokémon Presents Video Announced for Tomorrow Ahead of Pokémon Day

With two days left before Pokémon Day, Pokémon Present announced a special video that will be covering the latest Pokémon news on Friday. It starts at 10:00 am EST and can be viewed from the official Pokémon Youtube channel. While there were not lot of details given, fans have been speculating if the company will be announcing any remakes of previous games, specifically Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. In addition to this exciting news, they also released a cover of Post Malone singing “Only Wanna Be With You” by Hootie and The Blowish. Post Malone did not make any lyrical changes or add any Pokémon features, but the song can definitely be assumed as a nod to Ash and Pikachu. This song will be featured during Post Malone’s live concert on Pokémon Day at 7:00 pm EST. Fans can view the concert through YouTube, Twitch, and the 25th-anniversary website.

For the last month, the Pokémon Company has released news of some exciting events from Katy Perry’s collaboration with the gaming franchise to kick off their celebration P25 music, release date for New Pokémon Snap, and new collectible trading cards to be released throughout the year.

The 25th-anniversary binder to start collecting the First Partner Pack cards will be released Friday, and you can pick them up before or after watching the Pokémon Present video. These cards are oversized reprints of starter pokémon and will also include a couple of booster packs. Every month until October these packs will be released and will feature the three starters from their respective regions.

Finally, today, as long as you have a copy of Pokémon Sword or Shield, trainers can receive an exclusive Pikachu. This Pikachu comes in a cherish ball and knows the move sing, which is not a move that Pikachu can learn normally. To get this special Pikachu, trainers will need the password– P25MUS1C –to receive the Pikachu as a mystery gift. For more information, you can find it on the 25th-anniversary website.
