A new legend is coming to life. Developed by Toybox Games Studio, Primordials Legends: Hollow Hero is an upcoming action adventure that takes place in a world filled with anthropomorphic animals in the land known as Eridal. Long ago, there was legends of mythical creatures who were god-like and were able to control the elements. They dubbed these creatures as the legendary Primordial.
The game’s characters are anthropomorphic wombats. From the trailer, we are introduced to Eldar who is the narrator and his adoptive daughter, Brunt. Eldar was out near the outskirts of The Hollow where he stumbled upon an infant orphaned wombat. Filled with compassion for the young child, Eldar brought back the orphan and raised it as a dreg. She was considered unusual to the other dregs, since her size was larger than the others. As Brunt grew up, Eldar realized that she has a connection to the lore of the world’s past. He trains her so she may be ready to take on the challenges she might face. Time passed and Brunt must now go on a journey and discover how the legends of old tie in with her fate.
There are lavish landscapes to explore in Eridal. There will be dungeons filled with traps and hazards players will have to navigate through. As a wombat, Brunt will have the ability to dig and travel short distances underground, great for being stealthy near foes. Players will face giant insects in this game. A club and shield will be Brunt’s main use for defense. The shield is able to repeal a variety of attacks including flamethrowers. In this hack–and slash game, players will fight against a hoard of large insects and unfriendly smaller animals. With the club, players will slash through foes and also channel energy from the area to strengthen attacks. Primordial Legends: Hollow Hero is currently in development but is available to wishlist on Steam.
