Not too long ago, we covered a recent image that clearly hinted at the new gadgets that would be featured with future operators in the game. One being a grappling hook of some kind, and the other a canister that’s use looked quite destructive in combination with a kind of shield. Now, images have leaked that could possibly show what the new South American operators look like. Judging by the images, the gadgets seem to fit the description considerably making both the possibilities all the more real.
The images were leaked once again by user Kormora. Sources have found Komora’s leaks to be a great resource as much of the content that is shown becomes factual. Although, Ubisoft themselves have not confirmed that these are indeed images of the new operators. The first operator revealed looks to be some type of demolitions expert. The picture shows him setting off a blazing trap to an oncoming vehicle. It would be very likely the gadget resembling the destructive canister is closely linked to him. He will more than likely be a defending operator as he uses his gadget to slow down rushing attackers.
The second image seems to show the new attacker who looks like somewhat of an archeologist. A gadget like a grappling hook would seem to suit this character very well. The grappling hook is said to be used to get into high spaces quickly whether it be open windows or presumably even hatches above. This will surely change the approach of the defenders on possible flanking opportunities they will need to be aware of from attackers. The concept art is different than what many are use to but the actual character models have yet to be revealed and Siege’s cast has become so diverse they will likely fit in just fine.
Rainbow Six Siege is about to begin a new season so we will find out for sure soon enough what the outcome is. Make sure to stay connected to MXDWN Games for more info on these and future operators.
