The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild just came out recently and was immediately showered with praise as not only one of the best Zelda games, but as one of the greatest games in general of all time, scoring 97 Metacritic aggregate score and a 97.35 aggregate from GameRankings. So what better time for the Symphony of Goddesses, a classical symphony orchestra and choir dedicated to music from The Legend of Zelda franchise, to announce a world tour?
A Paste Magazine article explains that, given the success and popularity of Breath of the Wild, the Symphony of Goddesses has added music from the new game to their setlist. According to their program, the Symphony is also set to play music from Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening, A Link Between Worlds, Majora’s Mask and Skyward Sword. Including intermissions, each show will last about two and a half hours. The classical arrangements performed by the Symphony have been officially approved by Eiji Aonuma, Zelda‘s franchise producer, and Koji Kondo, composer of much of Zelda‘s music.
The Symphony of Goddesses have announced the following dates for 2017 and promise to add more in the future. Tickets can be bought from the links below.
