“You Can Pet the Dog” Humble Bundle Lets You Choose Your Charity Donation

In a new collab with the “Can You Pet the Dog” Twitter account (run by Tristian Cooper), an announcement for a new bundle of games that are “chock full of the goodest doggos”. All of the games in this bundle allow players to pet and interact with any of the “dogs” that are set in the game.


Any purchase made with this Humble Bundle will support any animal-friendly charity of the buyer’s choosing and includes organizations such as Sweet Farm (the first nonprofit dedicated to addressing the impact of factory farming and puppy mills), Humane Society (the country’s biggest and most effective animal protection agency), and Best Friend Animal Society (the pioneer of the no-kill movement in the US). The Humble Bundle also allows prospective buyers to pay any way they want.

The lowest tier donation ($1 USD) features titles such as Scribblenauts Unlimited, Beyond Eyes, Dog Sled Saga, and Bulb Boy. The next tier donation (of $4.74 USD) allows players to unlock games such as Shenmue 1 and 2, Death’s Gambit, and Where the Water Tastes Like Wine. The highest tier of donations ($12 USD or more) has games such as The Blair Witch Project and other newer games that allow you to pet as many “dogs” as allowed.

The bundle deal (which as of now consists of 8 games and counting) is available until October 1st.
