Xbox One Gets One More Tweak Before Production

News out of the Citi Global Technology Conference. The chief marketing officer of Microsoft, Yusuf Mehdi, has confirmed that the Xbox One is now moving ahead at full speed production after a last minute upgrade to its hardware, specifically the CPU. The CPU in the new system has been upgraded to a 1.75 GHz from a 1.6 GHz.

Mehdi went on to say that this would be the biggest undertaking Microsoft has taken in terms of the sheer number of units that will be shipped at launch by a “wide margin.” He also said that the production is on track for the release which is set for November even though we have no official date as of now.
