Everything Featured in the IGN x ID@Xbox Digital Showcase: Vampire Survivors, Jackbox Naughty Pack, Palworld

Microsoft partnered with IGN to show off indie games coming to Xbox and PC in the second IGN x ID@Xbox Digital Showcase, which was streamed on April 29 across various IGN platforms. Here’s everything they showed.

Astor: Blade of the Monolith

Astor: Blade of the Monolith, the fast-paced action RPG from developer C2 Game Studio, got a new trailer showcasing gameplay along with a release date. It releases May 30 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

33 Immortals

Game designer Cem Ertekin gave new details about Thunder Lotus’ 33 Immortals, a co-op action-roguelike with up to 33 players. The trailer showed different ways that players can interact with each other, and provided a look at one of the bosses in the game, Lucifer. A closed beta for the game releases May 24 for Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass, and the Epic Games Store, with sign-ups available now.

Palworld Update

Pocket Pair’s hit survival-crafting, Pokémon-like game Palworld is receiving a major update this summer. Four new Pal were shown off, along with a new flamethrower weapon.

Commandos: Origins

The next entry in the real-time tactics franchise, Commandos: Origins, showed off new gameplay and revealed that a closed beta would be occurring this summer.

Centum

Serenity Forge and Hack the Publisher announced Centum, and narrative-driven pixel-art horror game. Players control a prisoner who must escape from a cell, with surrealist visuals, and fluid story, and multiple endings. It releases this summer for Xbox Series X/S and Windows.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage

Don’t Nod, the developers of Life is Strange, gave a look at their new game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. Set in 1995, players capture the world through a camcorder in this narrative adventure game. It releases later this year for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Keylocker

Players control a singer/songwriter in a world where music is outlawed in Moonana’s Cyberpunk turn-based rhythm JRPG. The game releases this summer for Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Stampede: Racing Royale

Sumo Digital’s Stampede: Racing Royale is a 60-player battle royale kart-racing game. Players can compete in races, battles, and other modes with over 400 customization items. A Game Preview will be available on Xbox Series X/S this summer.

Jackbox Naughty Pack

The popular social party series Jackbox is getting a new entry intended for a more adult audience. The Naughty Pack will include three M-rated games, and will release some time this year.

Times & Galaxy

Copychaser Games’ space-based point-and-click journalism simulator Times & Galaxy has players control the first robot reporter for the Times & Galaxy newspaper in an attempt to get stories from across the galaxy. It received a release window of June 2024 for Xbox and PC.

Sulfur

Perfect Random revealed Sulfur, a single-player first-person extraction shooter with roguelike elements in the style of old shooter games. The trailer shows off some of the gameplay and enemies that players will face.

Fera: The Sundered Tribes

Peter McLaren, the Head of Production at Massive Damage Studios, detailed the co-op elements of Fera: The Sundered Tribes. He described the game as a combination of co-op monster hunting, survivalcraft, and a tribal colony sim. The game releases later this year for Windows and Xbox Series X/S.

All You Need is Help

Q-Games, the creator of PixelJunk Monsters, revealed their next game, All You Need is Help, a co-op puzzle adventure game. It releases Fall 2024 for Xbox Game Pass.

Tales of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter

Odd Bug Studio showed off gameplay for their soulslike action RPG, Tales of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter. The trailer gave a new look its gameplay and 2D artstyle. No release window has been set.

Hangry

Game Pill’s “snack-n’-slash” Hangry showed off gameplay where players fight and eat monsters to supply a diner. No release window has been set.

Promise Mascot Agency

Kaizen Game Works, the developers of Paradise Killer, have teamed up with Ikumi Nakamura and Mai Mattori to create the open-world mascot management crime drama game Promise Mascot Agency. The trailer showed a selection of mascots and the town in which the game takes place. It releases in 2025 for all major platforms.

Gamera Games

Five games developed by Gamera Games are coming to Xbox Game Pass: Depersonalization, Firework, Volcano Princess, Kelperth, and The Rewinder. All of these games were previously available on PC.

Triple-I Initiative Showcase

17 games and updates previously shown off at the Triple-I Initiative showcase were confirmed to be playable on Xbox, including Kill Knight, Risk of Rain 2: Devotion Update, Shadows of Doubt, Palworld Arena, My Time at Sandrock, Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, 33 Immortals, Never Alone 2, Streets of Rogue 2, Death Must Die, Broken Roads, Ravenswatch, Cat Quest 3, Brotato: Abyssal Terrors, and Wizard of Legend.

Dungeons of Hinterberg

Microbird Games’ Dungeons of Hinterberg got a new gameplay trailer that showed off its blend of action RPG and social sim elements with puzzle-solving and exploration. The game releases July 18 for Xbox Series X/S, Game Pass, and PC.

Vampire Survivor: Laborratory Update and Operation Guns

The Laborratory Update for Poncle’s Vampire Survivors releases today and features trains and cart-racing mechanics. The Contra: Operation Guns DLC also received an animated trailer that showed off new weapon types and a new character, Contra’s Brad Fang. The DLC releases May 9.
