Game Pass is Microsoft’s big thing nowadays. With many of their major titles going multiplatform now, the service is what draws many to Microsoft’s platform. Earlier this week, the company announced this month’s lineup of games that will be coming or, in some cases returning, to Game Pass across all of its tiers. Thus, let’s dive in and take a look!

First, the biggest of the bunch is the return of Grand Theft Auto V to the service. The game has come and gone a few times over the years, but has returned as of April 15 to get everyone a chance to play through one of the most popular games of all time before Grand Theft Auto VI launches sometime later this year. Games that have also arrived to Game Pass as of this week include SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game and Neon White which both arrived yesterday. Then, Crime Scene Cleaner and Tempopo have arrived as of today.

However, the headliner of the month arrives to Game Pass next week as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 releases next Thursday, April 24, and comes Day One to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Then, this isn’t the only game launching on Game Pass next week. On April 29, Towerborne launches on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass via Xbox Game Preview.

To end the month, a slew of major games arrive on Game Pass. First, Ubisoft’s Far Cry 4 comes to all tiers of the service on April 30. Then, to start May, another Ubisoft game in the city builder, Anno 1800, comes to all tiers. Also coming exclusively to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass the same day will be 2022’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Finally, on May 6, the spooky fishing game Dredge will come to all tiers of Game Pass.

Overall, Game Pass will have an extremely strong month of releases with everything from major titles to some indie darlings, and will have something for everyone.
