The first major video game presentation for the replacement of E3 has officially been revealed. Microsoft has announced the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase and is set to go live on Sunday, June 12 at 10:00 A.M. PDT/1:00 p.m. EDT. According to Microsoft, the livestream will focus on “amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world.” The showcase will be streamed on all of Xbox’s social platforms.
As expected, the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will cover titles pertaining to upcoming titles from both Microsoft’s Xbox Game Division, as well as Bethesda, which takes up a rather large chunk of that umbrella. We’re more than likely in for some surprises, as well as updates for upcoming titles, but there are at least two IP’s that we should expect to see in June. The first is Redfall, the upcoming vampire shooter from Arkane Studios, while the second one is the highly anticipated Starfall, which is being helmed by Todd Hall at Bethesda. Last year, Starfall was one of the main attractions, and it’s more than likely going to have some new updates for this time around.
As for the Xbox side of things, there’s a lot to look forward to. Microsoft has a lot of IPs in the works under their umbrella, some of which have only been shown briefly or shown at great lengths. This includes Perfect Dark, Fable, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and The Outer Worlds 2. It’ll be interesting to see what information trickles out during these next couple of months, and quite frankly, we cannot wait to see what’s in store for us.
The Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase will go live on Sunday June 12 at 10:00 A.M. PDT/1:00 p.m. EDT on their official YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok channels.
