On of the best received RPGs of last year, Wuthering Waves has continuously excited players with updates to the game expanding its content into many directions. Its newest update, titled “We Who See the Stars” is set to release on December 25th. In preparation for the massive new content, Kuro Games released a new trailer to capture the imagination of players again.
Beginning with a fast-paced motorcycle ride, the trailer sets the tone almost immediately. Gamers are treated to the new song, “Dawnbreaker,” with vocals by famous singer Will Stetson. The trailer reinforces the fast-paced theme of the update with a graceful dive and speeding train leading into the next scene. Players also catch a glimpse of some of the new areas that will be available to visit and new resonators available for play. The climax of the trailer sees the characters gliding through a massive firestorm and battling in the clouds.
Much more detailed information about the content coming in Wuthering Waves 3.0 can be found in the version preview available on the Wuthering Waves website. In it, the identities of the new resonators from the trailer are revealed as Lynae and Mornye along with new weapons like the Spectrum Blaster and the Starfield Calibrator. The version preview also contains a list of special events that will be held following the release of the new update, such as the Lahai-Roi Pioneers exploration event. In addition to new content, multiple optimizations are also planned to be released with version 3.0. These features include better ambient sound, visuals, and a more convenient experience on mobile.
As the year come to an end, many gamers are forced to wait until 2026 for new games and updates. For fans of Wuthering Waves, however, they will have the chance to experience one of the game’s largest updates in a few weeks. The game is available to play on PC and mobile.
