Fortnite‘s super hero roster will gain a strong addition on August 19, 2021. The lineup that includes both DC and Marvel characters will soon make room for Wonder Woman, completing the DC Trinity with Batman and Superman. She also joins The Flash and Aquaman to be the 5th out of 7 Justice League main contenders. The Amazonian princess will receive the standard Fortnite cosmetics treatment, with a set that includes a glider, a battle-ax, a loading screen, back bling, and of course a skin. She will also receive an “Armored” variant for her cosmetics, which will contain differing styles for fashionable warrior.
Fortnite‘s Rift Tour featuring Ariana Grande ended not too long ago, but already they are gearing up for this release with an event where players can earn the Wonder Woman cosmetics early. The Wonder Woman Cup will challenge players to win points in the duos game mode, and will reward players with the most points with early access to the Wonder Woman set. The Wonder Woman Cup follows the same rules of the Gamora Cup, which occurred on August 11th, 2021 prior to the release of the Gamora set on August 14th.
DC’s Superman is still available in some challenges, and Batman is a regular in the shop rotation if fans want to complete their collection of the big three DC players. It would also not be a surprise if Fortnite finished out their roster of the original 7 Justice League heroes soon, and announced Green Lantern or Martian Manhunter. Fortnite‘s crossovers occur consistently and often, so gamers can always expect something new in development regarding their favorite characters and cosmetics.
