Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus had an incredible first year, but that wasn’t quite enough for developers Bethesda. They have been working on and releasing a series of DLC, aimed at building more story in this Nazi-controlled version of the future. The three episode saga, titled “The Freedom Chronicles”, began last year. The first, “The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe”, had players bashing through Nazis as an ex-pro quarterback in Chicago.
Now Bethesda is following up with “The Diaries of Agent Silent Death”, an adventure through a Nazi version of Hollywood. The website describes the game as follows:
Play as former OSS agent and assassin, Jessica Valiant, AKA Agent Silent Death! Hot on the trail of a sinister plot, Valiant finds herself in the offices of Paragon Pictures, Tinseltown film studio turned Nazi propaganda machine. Stalk, shoot and stab from the shadows in pursuit of your prey in the Diaries of Agent Silent Death!
There is still a third installment yet to come, titled “The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins”, which will task players with taking down a Nazi operation in Alaska.
This new DLC is included in the Freedom Chronicles Season Pass, which also includes a special Episode Zero, which introduces these three characters to the player. This DLC is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the trailer below:
