A new dark fantasy action game was introduced at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase titled Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. This was developed by Team Ninja producers Fumihiko Yasuda (head director of Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne).
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty takes place around the Chinese Three Kingdoms period, except that demons and monsters have taken over. Villages are collapsing and innocent people are murdered by these vicious creatures. The protagonist is a nameless militia soldier who must fight for their survival against these demons and monsters. The trailer did not feature any gameplay, but based on the cutscenes played, it looks like the player will use Chinese martial arts to combat their enemies.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is set to release in early 2023 and will launch on PC and Xbox Game Pass.
