While We Wait For Pokemon GO: New Pokemon App For iOS And Android

Pokemon GO not coming out fast enough? Need your Pokemon fix on your phone sooner?

Called Pokemon Co-Master, the upcoming board game/smartphone hybrid is a mixture of Pokemon games of ye-old GameBoy and DS: you catch ’em all, train ’em all, battle ’em all…. Rinse, and repeat! What’s not to love?

The game will be a free-to-play strategy, available for iOS phones and Android phones, and just like Pokemon GO, it’ll be a collaborative effort between the Pokemon Company and talent partner company.

Co-Master is a unique Pokemon experience in that it uses a combination of Pokemon and artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality techniques. The AI implemented into the game will be designed by Tokyo based Heroz, a company that had previously developed an AI system so advanced, it defeated a legitimate chess champion.

The maker of Pokemon Co-Master has artificial intelligence of the world highest peak of the (AI) as the core technology, HEROZ Corporation. AI has been adopted in the company’s smartphone apps [such as] Shogi Wars…

Because the game uses AI, players should be able to work their way through tactical challenges–even beginners.

We can expect to see Pokemon Co-Master out in Spring of 2016….in Japan.

Sadly, no official word on release for Western regions.
