Watch Dogs: Legion Images Leak Online

Just this morning, a number of images leaked for the upcoming action-adventure game Watch Dogs: Legion. A link to the leaks was posted on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit by joelioio. According to the post, the leaked images originate from previous media previews of the game. While the images are little blurry, lots of hints can be gleaned for what will be in store for Watch Dogs fans.  The game was initially set to release back in March, however, on October 24, 2019, Ubisoft delayed its release along with several other games to an unspecified date in 2021.

Watch Dogs: Legion will see players travel across a futuristic London combating an authoritarian regime. In order to do this, players will recruit a number of characters from across London to liberate the city. The various characters will have a number of different abilities that may be able to help players along the way.

The first image leaked shows the team menu, which has a list of operatives and potential recruits. The operative shown in this image is Phil Ahuja a Football Hooligan, who has two abilities Rally Cry and tough drunk. He is also shown to wield a gun and some sort of arachnid gadget, which isn’t named.

The second leaked image reveals another character known as Brian Casey, a spy. He comes complete with a spy, car, a spy watch, and a silenced MP9. The Spy Car is described as having missiles and cloaking capabilities, while the Spy Watch can jam enemy weapons, allowing players to get the upper hand in a fight.

The third post features a well-dressed man, who may be Brian Casey facing off against an unknown and armed individual. While not much can be gleaned from this image, there is something quite curious. A red circle is drawn around a background asset with the calendar date “16 SEPT”. The reason behind this circling is unknown, but perhaps it is a hint at the new release date for Watch Dogs: Legion.

The last image shows one of the characters distracting a police officer while wearing a disguise. While this last leaked image doesn’t reveal anything new for Watch Dogs, it does give players a view of one of the locations they will be able to visit, the Albion Station Kennington. While no more information is available at the moment, new information will likely be revealed at Ubisoft Forward on July 12.

Watch Dogs: Legion doesn’t have an official release date as of yet, but it will eventually be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Xbox One, and the Xbox Series X
