Wasteland 3: New Gameplay Trailer Featuring Vehicle Combat

As crowdfunding for Wasteland 3 has officially begun, InXile Entertainment decided to release a trailer featuring spectacular gameplay including vehicle combat.

The trailer is short and sweet and reveals a stunning snowy Colorado terrain. There is only one car shown along with some dialogue between the character and a cannibal named Fish- Lips. The trailer shows great facial expression detail along with superb audio. There is a clear interface for players to choose which dialogue lines they want to use.

Wasteland 3 will be a party-based RPG where players are the only survivor of a Ranger Squad team called Team November. In an announcement by InXile they state that,

This is a land of buried secrets, lost technology, fearsome lunatics, and deadly factions. No one here has ever heard of the Desert Rangers. Your reputation is yours to build from scratch, and your choices may save this land or doom it. With a renewed focus on macro-reactivity, you’ll be picking between warring factions, deciding whether locations are destroyed or saved, and other far-reaching decisions that have a marked impact on the shape of your world.

Wasteland 3, much like its predecessor, will be a single-player game, however, this installment will feature an added co-op game mode. Players will be able to play with friends, whether it be doing missions or separately playing the game in the same universe.

The game will also now have upgradable vehicles to help traverse the cold Colorado landscape. The vehicles can be used for cover, or as seen in the trailer, can be equipped with a turret to take down enemies.

For information about crowdfunding the game feel free to click here. They are currently just over $2 million with about 10,000 backers.
