WarioWare: Get it Together was announced during E3 2021 on Nintendo’s Direct presentation. Prior to this, the company was sending out surveys asking fans if they would be willing to buy a $50 WarioWare title. This survey caught the attention of the internet, which alluded to the eventual announcement. This new entry will have a bit of a departure from the previous ones as you’ll be playing as multiple characters, Wario included, when taking on the mini-games.
The WarioWare series has gained a massive cult following since the original title launched way back in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Each title consists of several mini-micro games that the player must complete in a fast time frame. The more you complete, the harder and faster the games become. The most recent entry, WarioWare Gold, was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2018. From what we’ve seen thus far, WarioWare: Get it Together will keep that quirky style and more than likely go onto become another must have for the Switch.
WarioWare: Get it Together will officially launch exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on September 10, 2021. To play the demo, you’ll need to go into the Switch eShop and download it from there directly.
