Warcraft Movie Gets Its Own TV Spot, Plus New Set Pictures!

Earlier today on January 24th, Legendary Pictures launched its first ever TV spot for Blizzard’s highly anticipated Warcraft movie.

The spot was premiered several times before most schedule NFL Sunday football games today, along with a spot on CBS. The footage lasts 30 seconds long and offers nothing brand new as it is all images lifted from their full length trailer.

However, twitter came to the rescue today on the front of new images!

To kick off the excitement, the film’s Director Duncan Jones took to twitter with never before images of the Warcraft set.

Having been in rumored production for years, many are more than ready to view a full length movie set in the mystical and war torn world of Azeroth. The film ceased production back in May of 2014, and has originally been given a release of December 2015. Since then it has been pushed back. The film, slated currently for a late spring release of June 10th 2016, and has fans sitting on the edge of their seats and is being preemptively praised for decent CGI. Its cast consists of Travis Fimmel, Robert Kazinksy, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, among others.

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home. –Legendary Pictures

In the age of Netflix, Hulu, and other TV providers without cumbersome ads, this awesome spot might be enticing enough to make some fans endure commercials!

Mark your calendars for Warcraft’s premiere on June 10th!
