Developer miHoYo has released a new trailer for the 2.0 update of their action role-playing game Zenless Zone Zero known as “Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn.” Gematsu reports that the release is slated for June 6 and has been announced alongside Zenless Zone Zero’s Xbox Series X|S Version. 

The new update of Zenless Zone Zero is set within the Waifei Peninsula, a remote district of New Eridu. Here proxies, that is, players will explore the bustling Failume Heights and manage their own Subian temple. New characters to update 2.0 include Yixuan, Ju Fufu, Pan Yinhu, and Belion. 

Yixuan is an S-Rank agent of the Yunkui Summit and possesses abilities ‘Attribute Auric Ink’ and ‘Specialty Rupture’. Yixuan deals damage off a ‘Sheer Force’ stat that scales off attack and max health. Yixuan features 2 Ultimate modes. Ju Fufu is an  S-Rank Fire Stun Agent and senior disciple of the Yunkui Summit and weilds a weapon known as the ‘Hu Wei.’ Ju Fufu accumulates Might and Momentum to deal physical and fire damage and her attacks grant “Tiger’s Roar Effect”, boosting the teams critical damage, chain attacks and ultimates. Pan Yinhu is A-Rank physical defense agent of the Yunkui Summit. The final S-Rank Bangboo character in the update is Belion of the Yunkui Summit. 

Update 2.0 includes the Anniversary Bonanza with a free S-rank character,  free S-Rank W-Engine, 1,600 Polychromes, and 20 Encrypted Master Tapes, an exclusive title and avatar. Stronger enemies are available in ‘Miasmic field foes’ in the update and miHoYo promises expanded exploration in “new Hollow exploration gameplay”. Players can now equip multiple gears and quest have been added in Hollow Zero: Lost Void.

Developer miHoyo seems to want to strengthen the Zenless Zone Zero name with a sizable update, exploring some new featured characters  with a celebratory package.  With these rewards allotted for fans and miHoYo gearing up for Xbox Series Launch, odds are they may not miss.
