Untitled Goose Game is Getting a New Co-op Mode in September

As stated on the official Twitter Account, Untitled Goose Game is receiving a free update across all platforms. This update, which is set to come out on September 23, is set to feature a two-player mode that features yet another horrible goose that terrorizes the town.

This new goose (distinguishable by its different honk and beak shape) is playable through a local co-op mode. This update also allows players to play through the entire game with two geese, and as House House describes on the official trailer page, “New Goose, new honk, still horrible”. At the same time of this update, Untitled Goose Game is also planning to be available for Steam and Itch, with the multiplayer modes already installed. This update is set to be available on all Steam, Itch, The Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions.

At the same time, iam8bit is also producing physical editions of Untitled Goose Game as well, and the pre-orders are available now. This physical edition, recently announced by iam8bit in collaboration with Panic Inc. and House House, is under th4e distribution of Skybound Games. This physical edition (along with the eco-friendly packaging version called the “Lovely Edition) and the games vinyl soundtrack are available on September 29. For anyone further interested in anything upcoming for Untitled Goose Game, there will also be an hour-longQ&A session on the Nintendo Indie World Twitter account starting on August 20th.

Untitled Goose Game, which was originally released for Windows PC and Mac from the Epic Games Store, became worldwide hit as time went on. Eventually beating out games such as Death Stranding in the 2020 DICE awards, along with racking up many other awards across this board,  this four-person created game topped the charts for months and became an important tool in many player’s meme boxes.
