The Assassin’s Creed franchise spanned across different time periods and countries, and these new upcoming titles seem to continue on that tradition. This hadn’t been the first time new Assassin’s Creed games were rumored to be released such as last year’s announcement of Assassin’s Creed Infinity. Like Assassin’s Creed Infinity these new titles are said to be a glimpse of the future of the franchise.
According to Bloomberg, Ubisoft plans to showcase a mobile game and two major games. The first game dubbed Red was said to be set in Japan, while the second game code-named Neo or Hexe, was set during late-staged Holy Roman Empire and revolved around witch trials. Red and Neo were said to be a part of Assassin’s Creed Infinity, and it’s speculated that the two games will not release until 2024 at its earliest. Ubisoft will also show more of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which was announced recently. Set in Baghdad during the 800s, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will step back into the stealth-focused game-play mechanics of early Assassin’s Creed titles, in which players sneak around to perform assassinations.
To watch the upcoming event fans would need to check out Ubisoft’s official Twitch and Youtube accounts or just watch the stream on their official website.
