Ubisoft has officially launched its subscription service on Xbox consoles, following its previous announcement that its service would be coming to Xbox consoles last January. Xbox users can now access Ubisoft+ through Ubisoft+ Multi Access by subscribing and connecting their accounts to to their Xbox profile. Subscriptions costs $17.99 USD a month plus tax and will auto-renew until canceled. Ubisoft+ users will be able to enjoy an ever expanding library of title and 10% off in-game currency. Ubisoft+, players can access many of Ubisoft’s popular franchises and additional content such as expansions and season passes.
Ubisoft+ Multi Access is the more expensive version of the subscription compared to Ubisoft+ $14.99 USD. With Ubisoft+ Multi Access, users can access its library of games on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and or the Amazon Luna cloud gaming service in select territories. That said the library of games on Multi Access is smaller, 60 different games compared to the standard PC Ubisoft+ subscription library of 100 games.
Ubisoft Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development Chris Early gave his thoughts on Ubisoft’s latest partnership with Microsoft.
“Partnering with Xbox to launch Ubisoft+ Multi Access on Xbox consoles enhances our subscription offering to provide more value and choice to our players,” said Early. “Xbox console players now have access to our worlds through Ubisoft’s extensive game library.”
