The future of Assassin’s Creed has been revealed. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next game in the franchise. It takes place in 9th century Baghdad and centers on Basim Ibn Is’haq from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The story focuses on Basim’s early years when he was a young man learning the ways of the Hidden Ones. As it’s been reported, Mirage is built as an homage to the early Assassin’s Creed titles.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is not the only Assassin’s game in development. Ubisoft also revealed several other titles that will be released in the next few years. Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is a AAA RPG action-adventure mobile game set in Ancient China. Assassin’s Creed Codename RED is the next open-world RPG experience. RED takes the franchise to one of the series’ most requested settings, feudal Japan. Assassin’s Creed Codename HEXE will follow.

Ubisoft also officially revealed what Infinity is. Reports suggested that it would be a new live-service title but it turns out that is not the case. Assassin’s Creed Codename INFINITY will be a hub that connects players through different types of Assassin’s Creed experiences, including RED and HEXE. Ubisoft also revealed that it’s partnering with Netflix to create a live-action adaptation of Assassin’s Creed in addition to the new mobile game for Netflix members.
