Twitch Streamer Breaks Record For Longest Concurrent Stream

After his initial stream starting in August, Twitch streamer GPHustla has just broken for the longest concurrent stream. As he now reached a time length of over 1,000 hours (and still counting), the marathon stream originally started as a 24-hour stream. He then soon started sleeping on the stream as it reached 30 hours, and then 48, and then the numbers just kept growing as the camera never turned off.

Due to this new record being broken, GPHustla also announced that he wanted to become Twitch’s first 24/7 streamer, along with wanting to break the Guinness World Record. His plan to break the Guinness World Record, however, is a goal he has set to start in January 2021, even though he will consistently be streaming up until this point. As the streamer recently said in his most recent livestream,

I’m so exicted every day. I kinda don’t want to stop. I want to live on Twitch now and be the streamer that’s live on Twitch. You can, any time of the day, stop by GPHustla’s channel and he will be live.

Currently, GPHustla has a number of game titles under his belt that have been streamed. As his streams go from Fall Guys to Madden 2021he is also known for sessions where he just talks to people in the chats, along with holding parties for whoever is on at the time. He also doesn’t stick to holding the streams in just one room of his house, as he is known to bring the camera with him as he goes to the grocery store and performs other daily activities.

The previous record was held by Twitch user Reecesy, who logged his stream time to 200 hours. Currently, his time is logged at 1066:47:33, as he is currently asleep and tells people watching to wake him up with an interactive soundboard if they need something.
