Publisher Electronic Arts, along with developers Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment, have announced by trailer that Star Wars Zero Company, a single player turn based tactics game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Gematsu reports that the title is expected to release sometime next year in 2026.

In Star Wars Zero Company you’ll assume the role of Hawks, a former Republic officer and command an elite squad of cunning operatives all set within the onset of the events of the Clone Wars. Players will embark on tactical operations across the Star Wars galaxy and develop a base of operations, gathering intel to stay ahead of adversaries.

Shared on Gematsu in a press release, Bit Reactor CEO and creative director Greg Foertsch says “Our vision for Star Wars Zero Company is grounded in gameplay design pillars that weave in the immersive Star Wars galaxy with engaging turn-based tactics gameplay,” and also “It’s our aim to deliver a game with an original Star Wars story from the Clone Wars era that has meaningful outcomes from player choices, and deep turn-based tactical combat with an approachable and cinematic presentation.”

Star Wars Zero Company features a turn based combat where each decision will impact the outcome of the story. Developer Bit Reactor has aimed to create something cinematic while staying accessible to newcomers. Players may fully customize Hawk’s appearance, while recruited operatives come in a variety of classes and species; You can also customize their appearance, loadout and abilities across different archetypes including Clone Troopers and Jedi.
