Signal Studios partners up with Ubisoft, to announce today the next game in the Toy Soldiers series, Toy Soldiers: War Chest. Do you know what happens when you leave your toy soldiers behind? Your toy soldiers leave the battlefields of past eras behind, players will get to face off against rival toy armies in order to decide who rules the battlefield. You will be able to get your hands on Toy Soldiers: War Chest for Xbox One One, PlayStation 4, and PC in Early 2015.
”Partnering with Ubisoft presented an opportunity to create the Toy Soldiers game we had always envisioned,” said D.R. Albright III, the Founder of Signal Studios. “Gamers of all ages can play as and face-off against toys familiar to them from their childhood to recreate the battles of their imaginations. Fans will have a great time learning how each army plays, and the individual strengths of their troops and weapons.”
In Toy Soldiers: War Chest, players will get to dominate the battlefield with four diverse toy armies that will be available when the game launches. There is the German Empire forces, who have new troops, weapons, and turrets, and Kaiser is back to lead his forces. There is the new force that has been added to the franchise, and that is the Star Power army, with that name you wonder what kind of army this may include, well you will get to control an army of unicorn steeds, ferocious pixies, flying Pegasus and laser-shooting teddy bears with this army that is lead by Starbright. If you haven’t played the previous titles in the series, both armies will need to defend with unique base turrets, combat and aerial attack vehicles and army units. As it gets closer to launch, there will be more information on the two additional armies that will be playable in Toy Soldiers: War Chest.

- UNIQUE ACTION-TOWER DEFENSE GAMEPLAY – Place and upgrade turrets to protect your toy box from waves of increasingly cunning and powerful foes, or take direct control of your units to mow down enemies. Success in battle will require players to balance strategic prowess and deployment of resources with a steady trigger finger and deadly aim.
- FOUR DISTINCTIVE AND UPGRADEABLE ARMIES – For the first time in franchise history, Toy Soldiers: War Chest leaves the battlefields of past-eras behind to face-off against the armies from players’ imaginations. While Starbright’s army of Buddy Bears, Ponies and Pixies may look cute, they pack a devastatingly adorable punch. The infamous Kaiser makes his triumphant Toy Soldiers return to lead his disciplined WWI-era German forces into battle. Two more armies will be announced before launch in early 2015. Each army is unique and can be customized with weapons and upgrades earned through gameplay.
- NEW AND CLASSIC GAMEPLAY MODES – Toy Soldiers: War Chest brings back the classic single player tower defense game mode from the first two entries in the franchise and adds new modes that will be revealed in the near future.
