Whether you have played Planescape: Torment or not, if you like the idea of a rich, philosophical game that features a character who is immortal, Torment: Tides of Numenera, inXile’s upcoming story-driven, isometric role-playing game, is a game just for that.
Continuing Planescape: Torment’s legacy, Tides of Numenera features the story of an immortal; even though it is not the same protagonist from Torment, it will be quite interesting to see what the story is like in this one. Knowing these guys, they will have plenty of saucy dialogues and funny banters.
Funded by Kickstarter, this project raised 465% of what it asked (over 4 million USD). They’ve released the first pen and paper RPG books for Numenera 2 weeks ago, which you can get here.
