Tie Those Sneakers And Ready Your Camera: TOEM 2 Launch Trailer

Developer Something We Made made quite the impression after their 2021 game TOEM: A Photo Adventure was released. Their wholesome exploration game was met with overwhelmingly positive reviews from players as well as multiple awards such as best debut game during the 2021 BAFTA Games event.

To continue the fun they began, Something We Made decided to follow this up with a sequel. TOEM 2 follows the same premise as its predecessor: snap pictures of the beautiful world around you and uncover hidden details while doing so. This black and white world is more than meets the eye, and taking your time to look through every inch of it will reward you.

There’s no timers, no limits, or tricky requirements–just wholesome fun at your own pace.

Navigate your way through the platformer layout to find new paths to discover mysterious events known as TOEMs. Meet quirky characters and adorable critters on your journey, lend a hand to them and build a lasting relationship and catalogue the memories you make together along the way.

Fill your trusty journal with stamps from “quests, document discoveries, and expand your critter compendium. Each stamp is not only a reminder of the little wonders you’ve uncovered along the way — they’re also your ticket to unlocking the next region.”

Just because this is a cozy game, there will still be some skills that will be required to get through the stages. Since the last game, the camera has gotten an upgrade: you can still snap pictures to solve puzzles and uncover secrets, but you can use it in different ways. New attachments can help you overcome unique problems in each region, and it is up to you to find out which one is appropriate to use for each situation.

TOEM 2 is available now on the Steam, Switch, and Playstation stores.
