Three Friends and Bloom & Gloom Announce Into the Wind for Steam Early Access

Publisher Three Friends and developer Bloom & Gloom Games have announced Into the Wind, an open-world delivery adventure coming to PC via Steam Early Access. A release date has not been announced. The game was revealed during the PC Gaming Show 2026.
Into the Wind follows a new delivery business on the islands of Santa Rosa after Umberto, the player character’s uncle, disappears while looking into a strange cloud above the archipelago. Players pilot Ermes, a motorcycle-plane that can move across roads and lift off into the air, turning each job into a challenge across land and sky. Deliveries serve as the game’s progression system. Packages can vary in weight and condition, with heavier cargo affecting travel across hills and delicate items requiring more careful handling. Fuel, wind, weather, roads, shortcuts and bad landings also factor into each trip. Completing jobs earns resources that can be used to improve Ermes, giving players access to harder deliveries and routes farther across Santa Rosa.

The game also includes air pirate battles, character customization, motorcycle customization and home decoration. Players will be able to furnish their home and crew base between deliveries, though decorations have to be brought back before they can be placed. Some items also provide bonuses depending on where they are set up, tying the decoration system back into progression.

Santa Rosa is presented as an Adriatic-inspired island setting with villages, coastal paths, cafes and residents with packages to send. Players can learn more about the islands and their inhabitants by taking jobs, building relationships with crew members and following the mystery behind Umberto’s disappearance.

Bloom & Gloom said the Early Access version will include the core mechanics, a large amount of story content, deliveries, exploration, base decoration, bike upgrades, quests and relationship progression. The main story will not be completable in the Early Access release, with the full version planned to finish the story and expand the game’s systems. The studio expects the game to remain in Early Access for at least one year, though that window may change depending on feedback

Into the Wind is available to wishlist now on Steam.
