This House Knows Your Secrets: Haunted Bloodlines

The mansion in Haunted Bloodlines is anything but a normal home. It changes, it breathes, and it remembers.

Haunted Bloodlines is an upcoming game developed by the independent company Horrified Triangles. This is a first person, psychological horror game where the main goal is to uncover the past of the cursed mansion the player is in. However, it doesn’t just reveal its pass slowly, it takes from the player’s past as well.

The mansion takes on a life of its own, changing in unsightly and terrifying ways to unsettle players. A shadow that moves on its own, a sound in an empty room, the environment takes hold of the player’s psyche deliberately as they progress further into the abyss. The longer the player stays, the more the mansion rewrites its history.

Through diaries, drawings, and other relics strewn along the property, the player can uncover the story of the family that once occupied the space. The truth of the family that tore itself apart within the confines of the living walls means confronting something that players are not prepared for.

With no weapons to wield, the only way to survive is to stay quiet and hidden. What is hunting the player down in the mansion will know you better than you can ever know it. Having no weapons does not mean there is no help at your finger tips, however. A pocket watch with the power to take glimpses into the mansion’s past is hidden deep within the mansion. Using this will unveil secrets that relics omit, making it necessary to truly understand what happened with the family.

The pocket watch holds the power to transport players between the two states of the mansion: living and dead. Traveling between the two realms at just the right time and piecing the story together is the only way to complete the story. It isn’t a tool despite it seeming as though it is, it is ancient and does not see you as a visitor.

Haunted Bloodlines is available to add on your wishlist on both Steam and the PlayStation store.
