The Walking Dead: A New Frontier Finale Date Revealed

Earlier today (May 18), Telltale Games announced via their various social media accounts that the fifth and final episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, entitled “From the Gallows,” will be coming out on Tuesday, May 30. They also released the promotional poster for the episode and stated that a trailer will be coming out next week.

The rest of this article contains SPOILERS for the first four episodes of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier.

One of the most prominent figures on the new promotional poster is what appears to be a zombified Kate. So it would seem that Kate did in fact die in that car crash at the end of episode four that some fans speculated she may have survived. Some fans are still holding onto the hope that Kate survived and that her appearance on the poster is due to burns from the explosions, but others have pointed out that if that were the case then her hair would also be burned and that an explosion wouldn’t account for her reddened eyes.

The other interesting thing on the poster is the man to the left who is riding a horse and wearing armor and wielding a sword. This is clearly armor worn in The Walking Dead comics and TV show by members of The Kingdom, so it seems that this community will make an appearance in this episode. Some fans of the comics have recognized the man to be Jesus with his hair tied up. Jesus made an appearance in the game earlier and befriended the protagonists, so it looks like he’s coming back with The Kingdom to save the day.
