The Sinking City Remastered Officially Launches

Just today, the developers and publishers of  The Sinking City, Frogwares, have launched a new Remastered version of the game, updating the visuals to give players a better experience with a new atmosphere. The Sinking City Remastered officially launched today, and it was not announced previously, so it is a complete surprise for the fans of the game. The Sinking City was originally released in June of 2019 and was developed using Unreal Engine 4, and the game is available on PC through Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One.

Through the trailer, they show a comparison of what the game originally looked like upon first release, compared to the remastered version. The developers have used Unreal Engine 5 to rebuild The Sinking City. Through the comparisons of the game, they show that they added shades to the game, creating a darker atmosphere. The developers also added in 4K textures as well as also enhancing the environment of the game. The developers have also added in Photo Mode, where players have the ability to change different settings which changes how the game looks.

Along with the settings, the developers have also fixed and improved materials, improving the environment around the player and making it look more realistic. The developers have also added Upscaling and Frame Gen. as well. There is more that the developers have done to the game, but that is what was previewed only through the trailer.

For the players who have already purchases the game, the new remastered version is free, and they will also be able to keep the original 2019 version, allowing the players to be able to switch from the old version to the new one.
