The most recent version of the Aya Neo is now available on Indiegogo starting at $789. The new mobile gaming PC is a Switch like handheld that boasts the ability to run PC games on the go. The original version of the device was released earlier this year and sold out quickly, but the new Neo version has a lot of features that are upgraded from better buttons and battery to improved operating system and lighter weight. So, hopefully, players who want to take their favorite PC titles on the go may have another chance with the improved Aya Neo.
The system is approximately a 7-inch touchscreen display with a 1280×800 IPS display. It contains a 7nm AMD Ryzen APU processor, 16GB of Ram, and Radeon Vega 6 GPU, and 16GB of RAM. The system also runs Windows 10 which prevents any issues with running the games.
There is also a dock for the system that can be used to display the system onto another screen. However, unlike the Switch, the dock is sold separately. Players will be able to connect up to two monitors and a keyboard and mouse to the system. The system itself has 3 – USB C–2 for video output and charging–and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are also other accessories for the system such as a carrying case, screen protectors, and joystick caps.
According to Aya Neo’s item listing, it will run AAA gaming titles such as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Cyberpunk 2077, Watch Dogs: Legion, and more at good framerates. There is also video footage of these games being run on the system, so players can get an idea of how the system operates and plays.
While the system may not process games as well as a traditional gaming PC or laptop, the Aya Neo is still an innovative concept that allows players to take their favorite PC games on the go. For more info, check out the website.
