The Monster Hunter World Autumn Fest Is Underway

The community is now able to purchase Monster Hunter World on the Steam store after its recent PC release and Capcom has commenced the Autumn Harvest Fest at the Celestial Pursuit on consoles. The gathering hub’s staff is dressed in costumes, as well as the Handler and players’ Poogie. All previous event quests will be made available alongside the Harvest quests from September 21 through October 4. This includes the Behemoth and Arch-Tempered Elder Dragons missions. In addition, the Arch-Tempered Lunastra event will be accessible October 4  and the Arch-Tempered Zorah Magdaros quest is on its way too. Daily login rewards and limited bounties are centered around the Fest while players hunt for the event’s armor and items.

The Harvest armor set is Halloween-themed and can be crafted by using Autumn Harvest Fest tickets that are earned through participation in the event and by logging into Monster Hunter. The tickets can also be used to forge event armor for your Palico if you desire your feline friend to have a ghostly look. More Harvest gear like layered armor can be unlocked by completing the event’s quests. The quest “A Royal Pain” requires you to simultaneously hunt a Rathian and Pink Rathian, which unlocks Palico and swine theme layered armor sets for further unique customization. The Fest will trigger certain sales at Astera’s stores and bring down item prices when a special ship is docked and a new music track is playing for those who are online.

It was also announced on Twitter that “The Hearts of the Nora” quest is upcoming. This event quest will reward players with an armor set and layered armor of the character Aloy from the title Horizon Zero Dawn. This type of collaboration event continues to pop up here and there as players have been previously treated to Mega Man, Ryu from Street Fighter, and Dante’s sword from Devil May Cry. The recent tweet teases the Aloy event’s hunt, battling two of the monstrous Deviljho at the same time, which is sure to give players a welcome challenge.

Monster Hunter World is available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Steam.
