The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap Coming To Wii U Virtual Console

If you ever had a Game Boy Advance then you would remember playing The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, which was originally released in 2004 and developed by Capcom. Nintendo has released a few Game Boy Advance titles on the Wii U virtual console, which include games like Advance Wars, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, and Metroid Fusion. The Minish Cap will be coming to the Wii U virtual console in Europe on May 29th, while Nintendo hasn’t clarified on when or whether the game will be in released in America, plus the website says TBD. The game is currently available to 3DS users.

‘The Minish Cap borrows the Zelda Windwaker art style but adapts it to the traditional top down gameplay the series is known for.’ Players will take the role as Link and will be exploring Hyrule and as every title in the Legend of Zelda series, you will have to save the princess Zelda. Though you suddenly find something, its a green hat, but it’s not the usual green hat Link wears instead this hat is a magical hat that talks. The name of this magical hat is Ezlo the Minish Cap and Ezlo gives Link the ability when wearing the Minish Cap, to shrink to the size of a hidden race of pixies called the picori, which only children can see them.

Explore around Hyrule with the new Minish Cap to be able to be both small and regular sized in order to conquer enemies, puzzles, dungeons, bosses, find and fuse magic kinstones and become friends with the picori in order to stop Vaati, who is an evil sorcerer. Collect powers that would help you out in the dungeons like the Mole Mitts and Gust Jar. Use your powers and the abilities of both worlds with the Minish Cap in order to save Zelda, the world of Hyrule and the miniature land of the Minish.

You can see both Europe announcement and the Nintendo America page for The Minish Cap with more images and synopsis here.
