The Last of Us Receives DLC

Naughty Dog has released their first DLC for The Last of Us today for $10.00, available on the PlayStation store.

The DLC includes the Abandoned Territory Map Pack for the online multi-player component, as well as patch 1.05, which aims to fix a myriad of both online and offline issues. A full list of those fixes can be found on PlayStation’s blog.

The Abandoned Territory Map Pack brings four new multi-player maps into play, including, The Suburbs, The Bus Depot, Hometown, and the Bookstore. Seems to be a nice spread between the open and the intimate experiences from the single-player campaign.

Naughty Dog is planning two additional expansions, including their first ever single-player DLC. Expect this one sometime by the end of the year or in early January. Additionally, the company will be releasing a second multi-player map pack within the first quarter of 2014.

The new DLC can be downloaded for $10.00 on the PlayStation store, or players can opt to pay the $20.00 season pass and receive all new content as it is made available.
