The Last Of Us 2 Receiving A Special Preview This Week

Gamers looking forward to The Last Of Us Part II may be elated to hear that they will be able to enjoy a special preview for the upcoming game. According to PlayStation.Blog, this Wednesday, on May 27th, at 1:00 pm PT/4:00 pm ET, players will be able to enjoy more than 20-minutes of gameplay. This preview will also include an extended eight-minute sequence of never-before-seen gameplay.

Very little has been revealed regarding what the preview will include, however, the Naughty Dog Vice President and Director of The Last Of Us Part II has stated that he will “walk you through details of the gameplay experience and story.” Unfortunately for gamers looking forward to the PlayStation 5, this State-Of-Play will not have any updates or information regarding the PS 5, as it will solely focus on The Last Of Us Part II. While little more is known regarding the preview at the moment, it is possible that more information will be revealed at a later date.

Players seeking more information about The Last Of Us Part II can watch the story trailer that was released on May 6th. In the trailer players can see the former deuteragonist and soon to be protagonist Ellie all grown up and going through more trials and tribulations in her quest for revenge against the Seraphites.  Although the trailer does show one of the new characters Jesse, not much more is revealed by the story trailer beyond some horrific and gruesome scenes, and Ellie finally learning to play the guitar.

While the original release date of The Last Of Us Part II has changed due to COVID19 ,  fans will only have to wait four weeks for the sequel because the game is now releasing on June 19th, 2020. Until then, fans can watch the special 20-minute preview on both Twitch and Youtube on Wednesday May 27th.
