Developer Neocore Games announced that the steampunk themed action rpg, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II will not be released on April 17th and will be delayed until May 22nd. You can pick up The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II for $14.99 on Steam next month on both Windows and Mac. Those who pre-ordered back in March, had access to closed beta and pre-orders are still available in tiers ranging from $15 to $1,000. Tier-based perks include helmet skins for each class, future downloadable content, extra copies and in-game NPCs modeled after the buyer.
The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2, has even more cheeky humor and easter eggs than the first game. The game has the son of famed vampire hunter Van Helsing gearing up for some mass killing of monsters. When the adventure continues, the players are able to choose from three class types; the range and melee Hunter, the magic Thaumaturge and the Arcane Mechanic. Lady Katarina returns as a sidekick to help players, but the hunters will be able to bring up to three living friends in a co-op campaign, or do attacks in a PvP multiplayer battle that will support eight competitors total.

Some key features to the game that you will notice is that there is an extended tower defense mini-game which you have enemies invading the player’s Hunter lair in waves, and it’s up to you to set down traps and upgrade abilities to ward off evil, plus also up to 7 levels that are optional side quests. Hunter Lair as mentioned previously, was in the previous game, it is a hideout that players can protect their collected loot, trade with non-playable characters, teleport between locations, and many more functions. There is an extended and improved skill system that lets players charge up to three skill Power Ups on 8 active skills by spending Rage points that are collected from perfect battles. With this new release date it will be on the anniversary of the original game’s launch.
