

Publisher Forever Entertainment and developer MegaPixel Studio have released a new release date trailer for their rail-shooter The House of the Dead 2: Remake. Gematsu reports that the title will release on Nintendo Switch and PC on August 7 and that PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One will receive their own versions at a later date.
House of The Dead 2: Remake is set in February 2000 in a small city that has been overrun by hostile bioengineered creatures. Players will assume the role of AMS agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart, who are dispatched to investigate the invasion, with the events resembling the original title’s ‘Curien Mansion Incident’ from two years prior. Your goal is to shoot your way through creatures, rescue civilians, investigate the cause of the outbreak and neutralize the threat.
House of The Dead 2: Remake features remastered music with the option to switch to the original classic music. Visuals have been upgraded from the original title with updated models, textures, and effects.
