The Game Awards 2023: The Casting of Frank Stone, Single Player Title for Dead by Daylight Announced

A brand new single player horror experience is upon us! Announced at The Game Awards 2023, Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive is joining forces with Supermassive Games and has revealed The Casting of Frank Stone. The story takes place outside of the usual area that Dead by Daylight players are used to. Instead players will traverse in Cedar Hills, and in traditional Supermassive Games style, is filled to the brim with some serious blood soaked history.

The trailer also shows a group of players, who hail from  a village in Oregon searching the town, in search of Frank Stone himself. The group of teenager’s, enamored with the history of the legend of Frank, have taken to Cedar Hills, only to find that his past work is haunting the entire town. The atmosphere completely shrouded with a creepy-like aesthetic, which is right up the alley of both developers. The trailer ends with, who wee presume to be Frank Stone, wearing a broken welders mask, and staring blankly at the viewer. The game will feature the same mechanics that we’ve seen in Until Dawn, meaning that we’re in for some very serious decisions that will have some major repercussions later in our playthrough.

The Casting of Frank Stone will launch sometime in 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/Series S, and PC.
